What is electricity supply:

Approximately 25 years ago, 16 states deregulated their electricity systems. Some states allow electricity to be sold competitively to customers. (The transmission and distribution of electricity remain the sole responsibility of the utility.) In these states, customers have the opportunity to choose their electricity supplier.

Can customers benefit?

Yes, retail supplier rates are often lower than the utility's rate. But, in some states, many customers remain with their utility because some don't know they can choose among suppliers, some don't have the time to search for a better rate, or some find the process confusing. This can result in customers, residential and business, paying more than they should for the supply portion of their electric bill..

We know many customers don't have the time or the ability to continuously search for lower supplier rates so we do it for you. We monitor supplier rates every day and move your service to the most beneficial rate available.

We don't work for the utility company, we don't work for suppliers, we work only for you.

How is MSM compensated?

Our compensation is based on your annual average usage. $19.95/yr. for an Average Monthly Usage of less than 1,000 kWhs; $29.95/yr. for an Average Monthly Usage of 1,000-1,999 kWhs; $49.95/yr. for an Average Monthly Usage of 2,000 or more kWhs. Average Monthly Usage is determined by your account’s previous twelve (12) month average kilowatt hour (kWh) usage as shown on your utility’s monthly electric bill at the time of enrollment. The Average Monthly Usage will be recalculated each year on the anniversary of the enrollment date with MSM.

Payment can be made using direct debit, credit card, or mail.

Customers are emailed a monthly savings report.

How can I join MSM?

Click on the link on the last page of our website. A fillable form will open to an authorization agreement that is necessary to begin enrolling your account.

Once we have received your completed and signed form, you will receive an email from our debit/credit card payment processor. Upon activation of your account, My Supply Manager will begin searching for the most beneficial supplier rate in your service area, and begin to see your savings grow.

Please note: Retail supplier rate offerings change regularly whereas the supplier switching process takes 1-2 billing cycles.
